Hi there! I'm Athena, a 6-month-old Husky (with a hint of Cattle Dog) mix on an epic quest to find my perfect forever home. I might be a bit shy at first, but don't let that fool you-Inside of me there is a playful, adventurous pup with a zest for life just waiting to burst out! Once we get to know each other, you'll see me shine with my striking looks and energy. Whether we're exploring new places or snuggling up after a day of adventures, I promise to bring a lively spirit and endless joy into your life.
I adore playtime with my furry friends, so if you have a friendly mild-mannered pup, I'll fit right in. Whether it's going for long walks, playing with toys, or discovering new places, count me in! My favorite part of the day is spending time with a very kind lady here at the Ranch who takes me for walks and gives me all the cuddles I crave. She says I'm getting better on the leash every day-practice really does make perfect!
Once I warm up, I'm a cuddle bug who loves to snuggle close and shower you with affection. I form strong bonds with my human friends, and I can't wait to find a loving family who'll let me share my sweet demeanor. Are you the one who can give me the care and attention I deserve? If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
