My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Biscuit Maker. Purr Machine. Sweet and Shy!

Tangerine Tights lives for snuggles! Head scratches make her totally melt, and she will make happy biscuits and purr A LOT while getting pets. She is a lap cat, and will move around to encourage you to keep petting her!

Tangerine will play a bit, mostly with string toys! She also plays under doors with the resident cat, both of them gently pawing at each other.

Tangerine hid while she was in the shelter, but has come out of her shell now that she is in her foster home! She has a friendly-yet-cautious nature, and approaches new people and things carefully. Give her a little time to warm up, but Pro Tip: if you pet her right once, then she's all yours!

Another Pro Tip: She is crazy for treats, and they are definitely a way to her heart!

She doesn't have tangerine tights, but even better, she has a beautiful pastel calico coat! She is quite petite, and even her tiny meow is kitten-sized.

Tangerine would do best in a quiet home, possibly as your only cat; she is simply happy with her own humans to love and snuggle with.

Tangerine is a dream! Contact us today to arrange a meet & greet!

Tangerine Tights has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! waives the adoption fees of these cats, and provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. She can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions? We'd love to talk with you about FeLV care.

All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
