Pess was born with a congenital heart defect called VSD. She has seen a cardiologist and had an echocardiogram, which showed no shunting at this time. She has no physical symptoms, but a repeat echo must be performed in 6-9 months to determine next steps. There is a possibility that the condition will resolve itself, but until she finishes growing, we will not know.
The irony here is that Pess has a heart of gold. She is the sweetest, most loving kitten and she deserves to find the perfect home. She is an active and playful girl who would do best in a home with another cat or kitten. Pess can be shy at first, but once she feels safe, then she is out and about with the zoomies. She also loves to sleep and cuddle with her humans.

To proceed with adoption, a consult with our medical team is required as Pess' heart condition will require ongoing medical care.
