What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
2.5 yrs old, 60lbs, big snugglebug, non-shedding, friendly with everyone (people and dogs), good with respectful older children, fully vetted, has intense separation anxiety; right now he is only up to 10min alone with minimal whining if drugged. This will be a long project requiring a behaviorist. Sometimes leaks urine in the morning when stretching (vet says this may or may not get better with neutering...we limit his water in the evening and this helps). He is an amazing boy that we rescued; his last owners left him in the yard all day and he was filthy, matted, covered in fleas, and had ear infections, insect bites, and was sorely neglected. His character is so special; he is sweet and wants to be near you. He immediately bonds with new people and is mellow in the house.
He is scared to be alone and will vocalize and potentially have an accident if left alone without his meds being given in advance. He is not destructive, will not chew, and is a very good boy. Cannot be crated.
