Hi there… I’m Murphy, a 1yo chap full of life and energy. I’m a bit of a goofball, always ready to play and have fun. But don't be fooled, I'm not just about play, I’m working hard on my training too. I'm a friendly guy, I get along with other dogs just fine. But cats? Not so much, they're just not my cup of tea. I'd prefer a home with teens or older, they can keep up with my playful antics. I am visually impaired and may not see the world like you do, but that doesn't stop me from loving life and those around me. Adopt me and I promise to fill your life with joy, laughter, and unconditional love. Every home needs a Murphy!!

We ask all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application which allows us to check certain points of reference (vets, home ownership status, previous pets, etc). If the application looks good, the adopter signs the adoption contract which states, among other things, the animal(s) will have a permanent home with said adopter and if for any reason this becomes impossible, the animal must be returned to Four Legs Good. Four Legs Good reserves the right to place a follow-up phone call or visit, with notice, within the first year of adoption.

Four Legs Good is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to providing the most humane treatment of Rockland County animals in need. We started as a small group of dedicated volunteers who decided to make a difference in the lives of feral, homeless and abandoned animals. We are currently working out of the RG CARES Animal Shelter.
