My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosalie is a precious young lady cat, soft and sweet and very affectionate. She loves attention and pets and cuddles, and she'll talk to you and chirp when she's happy. She also has lots of energy and is very playful and engaged. And she's extremely good with other cats, especially her BFF Buttercup (KRLA-A-7022). But Rosalie doesn't have to be adopted with Buttercup, even though they're extremely comfortable together. She loves other cats, but she loves her humans most of all.

Rosalie's right eye tends to run a bit, kind of like a poodle, but she's actually very healthy and robust. It's just a slight physical attribute that, unfortunately, causes a little discoloration of the white fur under her eye (once again, much like poodles). But it's not a problem at all, and she actually likes it when you clean her eye with a tissue, since any attention is good attention according to Rosalie.

Rosalie is a very loving, adorable, spunky little girl, and anyone would be extremely lucky to have her!

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
