Meet Sheriff! Sheriff is bonded with Ranger so they must be adopted together. Sheriff makes happy squeals the second I open the door to his room. I believe he has associated me with food, but I like to think it’s because he likes me that much. He is easy to catch and pick up and makes those same happy squeals when you pet him around his neck. He is a very sweet, social, and lovable piggie!
Sheriff loves fresh hay and will happily squeal and do his happy little hops around the cage when he knows it’s coming. He enjoys alfalfa cubes and napping in his tunnel. When we let him roam around the room, he does the fastest running laps and squeals with delight. When I open the cage, he climbs right out and hops and runs around. He is very social.
I feed Sheriff and Ranger first thing in the morning, and we let them roam and play for a while. On days it’s around 70 degrees, I set up a playpen outside in the shade, and we share fresh fruits and veggies. He is the cutest, most lovable little guy!
Sheriff was an owner surrender. If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
To learn more about Ruff Start’s adoption process and the care our foster animals receive, please visit our How to Adopt page.
If you are unable to adopt but want to help this animal and others in our care, you can donate to support the medical and veterinary needs of all Ruff Start Rescue animals.
