Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is “BB” – which is short for Baseball, because BB is the mama of the Baseball Teams litter. BB was picked up as a stray by animal control on March 4th and gave birth to 9 puppies on March 7th. All but two of her puppies have found their forever homes and now that BB is spayed she is ready to find her new home too. We do not know how she ended up a stray because she seems to have been someone's house pup. She has wonderful house manners, has never had a potty accident, chewed up anything, or barked much at all.
BB has been living with her foster family since her puppies were weaned and she is an absolute joy. She is so easygoing and unassuming – she loves affection, but is not pushy about it. She is content to rest quietly on the sofa most of the day with occasional short play times in the yard. She has just started to actually play a little bit but mostly she just chills. Her foster home has a fenced yard and a doggy door, so she can go out whenever she likes, and she seems to like to go out and roam around the yard at night when it is quiet. That may be because she is naturally a bit nocturnal, or it may be because she likes to have the yard to herself while all the other dogs in her foster home are asleep. So far she loves everyone she meets and resides peacefully with dogs of all sizes.
The shelter estimated that she is three years old, but the vet who spayed her estimated she is two years old, so we've given her an age of 2 ½ years. She is so calm that she may be closer to 3. She is a nice medium size – she weighs 62 lbs but appears smaller. Her breed is a mystery but her head/muzzle shape looks like there is some Bull Terrier in her mix. She could have some pointer as well but we just do not know.
If you would enjoy a loving, mellow companion and a sweet family member, we hope you'll come meet BB. We just love her and want her to find an amazing home.
