Hello, folks! I'm Sarabi, named after the queen of Pride Rock. My tale? Picture this: One day, I'm helping my human do yoga. They're in Downward Dog, I'm in Upward Dog, we're vibing. Then, they say 'sit'. So, I sit. On their back. Turns out, that's not how yoga works. They ended up in the shelter. The human shelter, that is. Me? I landed here. I'm a sweet, friendly gal who loves cuddles and knows how to sit (just not during yoga). So, why adopt me? Well, I promise to make every day an adventure, even if it's just a trip to the couch.

ADOPTION PROCESS:
ADOPTIONS MUST BE MADE IN PERSON at Fort Worth Chuck Silcox Animal Care and Control OR the specified PetSmart location. Please refer to the pet you are interested by their animal ID number; not their stated name. Adopters will be asked to complete an adoption application and provide valid ID showing that they are at least 18 years old.
The adoption fee is $49.00 for dogs and $25.00 for cats. The fee includes vaccinations, a city license, spay/neuter, a microchip and a heartworm test. The shelter will not release the adopted pet until after it has provided these services. Exceptions may be granted due to age, health or injury.
