Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harvey will be available to meet and potentially adopt (pending foster's availability) on Saturdays starting Saturday, June 1st at our PetSmart location (857 N Val Vista Dr, #106, Gilbert AZ 85234) until adopted. The adoption event starts at Noon and goes until 3:00pm.
Harvey is a new Follow Your Heart doggo. He is an 8 year old gentleman, whose heritage includes mini schnauzer and dachshund. He is a low rider for sure! Harvey is fully house broke. He is not too sure about people until he gets to know you. Then he goes everywhere you go, happy tail wagging away. He is crate trained, walks wonderfully on the leash, chases toys. If you need a new best friend Harvey is available. Harvey was found separated from his people in East Mesa. A loving family kept him safe and tried to reunite Harvey with his family, but they could not be found. You could be this sweetheart’s soft landing into a forever home. 🐾 Harvey does not do well with cats.

More about this rescue
The Follow Your Heart Foundation is committed to preventing the unnecessary euthanization and abuse of abandoned and/or abused animals.
In order to fulfill this mission, Follow Your Heart will engage in the following activities:
Foster Program-Animals will be rescued from shelters and placed in temporary foster homes to save them from being euthanized. During this time, animals will be provided with proper nutrition, shelter and analysis to determine appropriate long term housing.
Adoption Services - the organization will work to find each animal that is rescued a forever home that is willing and able to make the long term commitment to a family pet.
Public Education - Abuse, neglect and irresponsible pet ownership leads to thousands of animals being killed each year. One way to combat these issues is through continued public education to not only raise awareness about animal abuse, but also promote responsible pet ownership.
Medical Treatment - Animals rescued will be provided proper medical treatment as needed.
