This helps Rocky Mountain Puppy Rescue with pet care costs.
Hi peeps! I'm Sam, a goofy boy with a heart as big as the moon. My foster mom says I’ve got the soul of a Saint Bernard but without the slobber. I'm fully potty trained, love being brushed and don’t mind baths. Physical affection is my absolute favorite. I lean in for hugs, snuggles, wrestles and all the pets I can get. Even so, I am a bit shy with men, but with time I relax completely - ladies though? Count … me … in! I’ve got a great healthy coat, love all weather, and am up for any adventure, especially things that involve running really fast. I really like cats, but can get over excited when I try to play with them. Still, I never get mad when they give me a good swat on the snout. I’m learning not to chase wildlife, and so far, have listened pretty well. Unfortunately, I haven’t had a lot of opportunities to get used to a kennel - my foster family works long hours, so I don’t really use one. I may look like a big boy, but I am still a puppy which may be why digging and chewing are still favorite pastimes of mine. My foster mom is trying to teach me to tone it down, but it’s just so hard! Nibbling on pillows, rugs, and dog beds makes my teeth feel so much better. Well, I guess that’s me in a nutshell - a big, goofy, lovable pup still learning the ropes while looking forward to a furever home!
