My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Maddie is a Goldilocks dog. Just right. Fluffy, friendly, and full of life, she socializes easily with dogs and people, including children. A reliable favorite at parties, she can entertain the guests or chill in a comfy spot on the edge of the action. She gets around just fine and doesn't sweat the small stuff. Except stairs. Not a fan. But really, is perfection all it's cracked up to be? Never. Maddie is proof!

Here's some notes from her foster:

She gets excited when I get home from work and she loves to smile! She is so easy! Totally potty trained, sleeps through the night She does a little smile when I get home! Her personality is really showing now!

She now shares her bed with my other foster! I have seen NO aggression in her. She can be talkative when people come over, but she quickly wags her tail and wants a pet.

Sometimes when she's being playful, and excited, she'll also mouth your hand very gently.
She's fantastic with school age kids, we see on our walks. She DOES need daily brushing. She has NO problem being home alone, she sleeps most of the day when I'm at work.

Occasionally on walks she will hear something that I don't and get spooked. I reassure her that everything is ok and we continue on with our stroll. She's learning to play with dog toys! She's good at outdoor restaurants & is hiking more now. She can go a couple of miles. She's STARTING to learn stairs. She can only go up 3 steps thus far.

She's a gentle giant. She's a VERY VERY sweet dog
