My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Elby is playful and full of energy and love. She was rescued as a tiny kitten in a small farming town. Kept indoors without a kitty buddy so at 6 months she's not sure about those "other cats". We were asked to find her a forever home because the rescuer wanted her to have a wonderful home.

Sweet Elby is Spayed, tested negative for FELVFIV, vaccinated, dewormed and microchipped. Elby can be happy as an only kitty but I think she may be happier with at least one other kitty she just doesn't know it yet.

I love her bubbily personality and energy and I know her new family will too.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
