Hi, I'm Windy! I used to be a superhero dog in a comic book world. My superpower? Running faster than any hound! One day, I chased a villain too far from my comic book pages and ended up here, in the real world, and in the pet resource center (1312 Melissa Dr in Bentonville). I'm playful, energetic, and I've got most of the house rules down, including going outside to potty! I still love running, but now I need a new mission: to bring joy and laughter to a loving family. All adoptable animals are currently in foster homes. Please email adoptnwa@bestfriends.org to arrange a meeting.

Standard cat/kitten adoption fee $50. Standard dog/puppy adoption fee is $100

Additional adoption info

We strive for an open adoption process that helps you find the right pet for your family. We have standard adoption fees, but offer frequent adoption promotions with reduced adoption fees. During the adoption process there is a brief consultation with our Adoption Specialist and a short contract to sign prior to finalizing the adoption. Best Friends commits to the pets for life and we will take back the pet if they can no longer be cared for in your family. Adopters must be 18 years or older to adopt a pet.
