Patience is the name of the game with pretty 4-year-old Dinar, who is starting to learn what life in a home entails. It’s full of strange things — a door! dinner in a bowl! a big yard! — and Dinar is the sort of sensitive girl who prefers to take everything one small step at a time. There’s one thing that doesn’t faze her at all, however: climbing! Her favorite spots are on top of tables, chairs, even her crate. Maybe she has a future in agility? Dinar has made good progress since she first came to Col Potter. She is still shy around people, but she is taking a new — and active — interest in life as a pet rather than simply a breeding dog. She has become more adventurous and confident. She joyfully joins the resident dogs in play, and accompanies one or another on reconnaissance missions around the yard. Dinar is still a work in progress, but that just makes her all the more loveable. She is discovering what it means to be a part of a family, and she is learning how to communicate with her foster mom for good things. She is at the stage where she needs to form her bonds with a forever family who will encourage her development. She has a love of life; now she needs to find and love her forever person.
