My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Black Jack was brought to the shelter with his friend Belle on 6/12/2024. They were not being taken care of at home and were always running the streets. Jack and Belle came in with some skin problems, but we were working on getting them all cleaned up. They've had some baths/medications and are now completely healed up. Jack loves playing with other dogs and is a goofy boy. Active home would be best. Still working on his potty training skills. If you're interested in bringing little Jack into your home, his adoption fee is $100 with an approved application.

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
