My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Location: Parker, SD

Everyone looks at the cute puppies, but we hope you will look at this girl!
This girl has wormed her way into our hearts, and we think you will fall in love too.
The rescue has her named as Cheyenne, but oddly she responded to "Mable" so maybe that is the name she has chosen. We do not know much about her past, but we know she is smart and learns quickly.

This girl LOVES to have some serious playtime, and is high energy. She does well with other dogs (slow intro please, as she likes to be the boss). After introductions, she regularly plays loose in a fenced yard with 3 to 4 other dogs and interacts appropriately.
Working on walking on leash, does pull a little but improving.
Rides GREAT in a car/truck.
Enjoys chasing balls, and often brings them back to you as well. (Have a spare!)
Rests quietly in her kennel, but does bark as we let our other dogs in/out.
Shows some resource guarding with favorite toys, but more on the line of wanting ALL the toys (no bark or growl etc, just wants all toys when there are other dogs).
She is learning "sit" and "kennel" (use a high value treat to reward going to kennel). She will need some patience as she runs and jumps on /off furniture in joyful celebration when she is loose in the house, and needs to learn "place" and to have "Rest Time"

Needs a home with no young children.
She did not get the memo about cats being friends, not food, and needs a home with no cats please!

Currently fostered near Sioux Falls, we can arrange meet and greets.

---------------

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).

Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
