My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Percy, and I'm a 5-year-old black Lab and Shar-Pei mix with a heart full of love to give. I had to say goodbye to my last home because my owner couldn't take care of me anymore, but I'm ready to find a new family to share my goofy, bashful self with.

I'm known for being a bit shy at first, especially around new people and new things, but once I warm up, I become a loyal and constant companion. I love playing with stuffies and balls, and I'm crate trained, so I feel secure and comfortable in my own little space. Car rides are one of my favorite things, and I get really excited whenever I get to go on an adventure with you!

When I'm out on a walk, I might seem a bit nervous at first, but with a little patience and positive reinforcement, I quickly get into the groove. I'm a gentle soul who loves to explore and sniff around, and I promise to make every walk an enjoyable experience. I might pull back or hesitate if I encounter something new, but with your encouragement, I'll learn to face the world with more confidence.

I can be a bit of a goofball once I feel at home, bringing lots of smiles and laughter to those around me. My playful side really shines when I feel safe and loved. I'm not just looking for a home; I'm looking for a best friend who understands that I might need a little time to open up. Once I do, I'll be your most devoted and loving companion.

If you're looking for a gentle, fun-loving dog who just needs a bit of time to show his true colors, I'm your guy. Come meet me, and let's start our journey together. I can't wait to find my forever home with you!
