Foster cat's bio for their adoption profile: Verdi is a bit of a shy guy but once he understands you are the bringer of food and giver of head scratches, he melts. In fact, he probably prefers head scratches to his snacks and has been known to flop over into food and water dishes trying to get more pets in. He's still a bit cautious when there are sudden movements but his curiousity gets the best of him and he likes to see what's happening.
Verdi would do best in a household that can take time to let him settle in. He would do well to start in a smaller room slowly gaining access and getting to know more of his surroundings.

More about this rescue
Since 1996 SCAT Street Cat Rescue's prime focus has been feral cats because of the limited options available for them. TNR is a successful option instead of the traditional trap and kill. The majority of the cats rescued by SCAT, however, are socialized and available for adoption. As the city grows, so to does the need for our services. Adopt, Donate, Volunteer, TODAY!
