Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calypso, our Greek goddess of renowned beauty. Almost 2 years old, this 45 pound Pitbull’s spirit cannot be broken. Being rescued from an alleged dog fighting ring, Calypso was found chained up and left outside to fend for herself. With love and medical care, our gorgeous girl was feeling better and her firecracker personality soon came out to play. A low-riding athletic lady, she’ll be your sidekick after offering her up calm attention. A home that allows her to be the only spoiled pet, where she can get all the love she deserves would make this smiling girl very happy!

The Monmouth County SPCA is open for walk-ins every day, starting at noon!

You'll meet pets you're interested in provided it's an appropriate match.

Sign Adoption Contract

We'll go over any behavior or medical notes so that you have a clear understanding of your pet's needs. You'll sign the notes and contract.

5.
Pay Fee

We only do adoptions in person (please bring all family members).

We will ask you to fill out our Adoption Survey at the shelter and talk to an Adoption Counselor, who will help you find your perfect match.
