Hi there, I'm Charlie! I'm still pretty young, but boy, do I have a lot of love to give! I'm a friendly guy who loves to play and make people laugh with my goofy antics. I'm also pretty smart, so if you're up for teaching me new tricks, I'm all ears! I love a good game of fetch, or a long walk in the park. But my absolute favorite thing in the world is spending time with my favorite humans. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and intelligent companion, I'm your guy! Founded in 1971 as the Animal Aid Society of Englewood, Suncoast Humane Society began with a few cages where people left stray animals to be cared for. Over the years, our service area has grown to include over 400 square miles, covering three counties: Sarasota, Charlotte and portions of Lee.
Suncoast Humane Society provides a safe refuge for thousands of lost, abandoned and abused animals from our service area each year. We are committed to our open-door policy of never turning any animal away, regardless of health, temperament, breed or circumstances.
