My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Keelan is a 8 month old, 37#, Husky/German Shepherd mix! Keelan is a happy go lucky boy and has a zest for life. He's always smiling and does a great job keeping himself entertained! Although he does have a independent side, Keelan adores people and wants attention all the time. He loves daily walks, playing fetch and even playing with water from the hose! When we fill his kiddie pool in the morning, he jumps right in and plays with the water coming out of the hose. This dude is funny!

Additional adoption info

Dog prices vary- please contact the shelter with questions: (419)626-6220. All of our animals are spay/neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed and on flea/heartworm prevention. If you are from Erie County, then there would be an additional cost for the dog tag. Cats range in price from $50 (ages 2 years and older), $75 (ages 7 months to 2 years), and $100 for kittens 6 months and younger. We do suggest you come in and meet the animals before picking your 'fur-ever' friend. An application is required once you have made your choice, and we ask 24-72 hours to process that application before arrangements are made to take your new pet home. A copy of that application can be downloaded from our website http://www.humanesocietyoferiecounty.org or you can pick one up in our lobby!

More about this shelter

It is our honor to befriend the dogs & cats who find their way through our doors, through no fault of their own. We love them as our we love our own pets and work to build trust and love where it was either non existent or demolished. We are VERY fussy about who is allowed to adopt our animals and do an extensive background check on everyone who completes an application. Our animals deserve that.
