My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Billy Bob is looking for his forever home! Are you looking for a gentle, sweet and beautiful wigglebutt who will be the best friend you could ever hope for? Billy Bob could be for you!

This lovable boy’s favorite activities include napping, snuggling, and getting ear and neck rubs. Billy Bob delights in being cozy and you can often find him snuggled under blankets or snoozing upside down with a big smile on his face. But don't be fooled by his relaxed demeanor; he's also an extraordinary athlete! His foster describes him as an agile panther in a dog suit, and he loves running like the wind and jumping like a gazelle. With his athleticism and exceptional nose, Billy would have a blast with activities like agility and nose work.

In the house, Billy Bob is a well-mannered gentleman. When left alone, he peacefully snoozes until his people return. Whether you're gone for five minutes or three hours, he'll greet you with the most joyful wiggle you've ever seen!

Billy Bob does well with other dogs with a proper introduction and would love to join a home with a confident, laid back dog who enjoys playing as much as he does. He would also be ok as your one and only pup! No kitties for Billy, please.

A gentle and sensitive soul, Billy Bob is looking for leadership and consistency in his forever home. He thrives with routine and boundaries, and would love a fairly quiet home with a fenced yard so he can do zoomies to his heart’s content. Billy adores his people and, while he can be a bit nervous when meeting new human friends, he quickly warms up when given space and time. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll be eager to snuggle up on the couch and enjoy a cozy snooze with you!

We estimate Billy Bob to be around 5 years old and weighs about 70 lbs. He is a pit bull type dog with all the love, snuggles and companionship you’ve been looking for!

Medical Information: Billy Bob has mild IBD and needs to be kept on prescription food and a limited diet to keep his gut healthy.

Billy Bob’s adoption fee is $450 and is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. Per our rescue policy, unless specifically noted in a dog's bio, we will not consider adoption applications from families with children under 5 years old.

More about this rescue

Forgotten Dogs Rescue is a volunteer and foster home based rescue organization focused on saving Pit Bull type dogs. Located in Washington State, we are a 501c3 non-profit and have been saving animals since 2011. We are dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned dogs who are in Washington's shelters, surrendered by their owners due to difficult circumstances or are in danger of abuse or neglect.

We save the dogs that need help the most, the dogs whose time has run out, the dogs who have lost all hope — the forgotten dogs.
