Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lacy is a beautiful orange & black tortoiseshell kitty. Back in April, she gave birth to 3 orange male kittens...however she is now ready to let those ornery boys find their own way. Her momma duties are fulfilled, and, as she is a true "tortie" princess, it's time for Lacy to find a home where she will be cherished and loved. Like most torties, she has a bit of spunk, a good helping of curiousity, and a wish to be loved. She will cuddle with you when needed, and reward you with purrs as you pet her lovely fur.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. You can also contact us directly regarding a pet seen here and we will set up a time for you to meet them in person. Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
