My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Momma is a female terrier mix. She is around 4 years old & is spayed, microchipped & UTD on her vaccines. We do not know what she is mixed with.

Momma will be your best friend & companion. She craves affection from her people & is always so happy to see you whether you've been away 3 minutes or 3 hours. She is a lap dog & enjoys going for walks. She gets along with other dogs & would do well in a home with older kids who understand & respect boundaries. We are unsure about cats. She definitely goes with the flow. She does not need to be crated. She is potty trained but accidents should be expected while she adjusts to a new environment/routine. She would love a home with an attached backyard, a bed to snuggle into & a relaxed home environment with little to no traffic.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com & you will be contacted if your application fits her current needs.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
