My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Knot is a male pug mix born 4/2023. He is current on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped & his neuter appointment is scheduled. He weighs around 15lbs.

Knot is a quiet, observant, well mannered boy. He is good with other dogs, all sized humans & we are unsure about cats. He doesn't mind being crated & does well for car rides. He has never been on a leash/harness & would enjoy a secured, attached yard at his new home where he can practice & sunbathe. He is almost housebroken but accidents should be expected while he adjusts to a new routine/environment. He does not show too much interest in playing with toys. He loves a good blanket to snuggle into & we are almost positive he'd love a spot in your bed at night.

He would enjoy a low-traffic, relaxed home environment. Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com & you will be contacted within 48hrs if your application fits his current needs.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
