My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Chloe, the ultimate people-loving couch potato! She's the perfect snuggle buddy for any family movie night. And when it comes to being a house guest, she's got manners galore.

She is good with older respectful kids, and plays gently when playing tug.

Chloe's also a big fan of joyriding in the car and would love a fenced yard to run around in and stretch those legs.

But, like any of us, Chloe's not perfect. She can get anxious around loud noises and thunderstorms, so she takes medication to balance this. While she's a pro at walking on a leash, sudden sounds may spook her, so she needs her walker to hold tight and anticipate these moments where she’s prone to try to flee.

Chloe seems indifferent to cats in the foster home. She enjoys the company of other dogs with the exception of chow time. She prefers to eat in a crate or gated area, as she can be a little protective of her nom noms. On the pro side, dinner doesn’t take long – she’s a speedy food gobbler.

Here's a video of Chloe having fun with her dog pal: https://youtu.be/qd_pYxsWuuo

Chloe is a love bug and deserves a loving family to match her affection. Inquire about this cutie pie today!

Sign Adoption Contract

You would also pay the fee at this time, however, we offer a 2 week trial period before cashing your check. We will always take dogs back.

Additional adoption info

You will be asked to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/dh-adoption) and allow a home visit to ensure the pet is a good fit for your home/lifestyle.

We are primarily a placement service, so the adoption fees vary depending on each pet and what caretakers have invested medically and behaviorally to ensure they are adoption-ready.

Go meet their pets

Doggie Harmony does not hold regular adoption events, but follow our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/doggieharmony) for special events. We also encourage you to contact us about pets you may be interested in, as we are always willing to bring them to meet you.

We do not have a shelter, so please understand that we are only able to support animals with foster homes or donations toward short-term boarding.

More about this rescue

Doggie Harmony is a metro-Atlanta dog rescue group focused on finding the right homes for dogs in foster care or belonging to owners who wish to re-home them. Our core objective is to place these dogs before they are turned over to animal control facilities, where they may be euthanized. Lastly, Doggie Harmony supports spay/neuter, wellness, and training to help keep or place dogs. This includes helping people find low cost resources and/or lending financial support where there's a qualified need.
