My story

Sweet Mimi is a friendly girl with a beautiful coat who was found by a community garden in Crown Heights. From the very first day she was brought inside, Mimi has been a devoted lap cat with plenty of love to give. She is a sucker for cuddles, cheek and chin pets, birdwatching through the window, and chasing a laser around. She adores humans but not other cats, so she would prefer to be a solo pet.

Mimi is about 2-3 years old. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccines, and tested FIV/FELV negative.

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.

We hold Saturday adoption events at Unleashed by Petco in Park Slope and Petsmart on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn (check our website and Facebook page for more information) and have cats at Bushy Tails pet store in Bushwick and Petsmart.
