My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Cheerios, a kitten with a heart as sweet as his namesake. This friendly feline is the epitome of playfulness and cuddliness, always eager to entertain and be entertained. His affectionate nature is contagious, as he loves to give and receive pets. But don't think his love is exclusive to humans, Cheerios gets along swimmingly with other cats and dogs too. His sociable nature makes him the perfect addition to any family. Adopting Cheerios isn't just about giving a home to a shelter pet, it's about welcoming a bundle of joy and love into your life.

He is a male black and white domestic longhair with one white spot on the middle of his back, who is about 2 months old as of June.

Cheerios is living with his siblings Chex, Crispix and Crunch. They can be adopted together, in pairs or separately if there is a cat already in the home. Check out the siblings' profiles, too.

He is looking for a forever home that is willing to foster to adopt until he is old enough to be fixed. Foster to adopt means, he will be living with you and you will be responsible for him (including financially) but the adoption will not be finalized until he is fixed. That usually happens around 5 months depending on what the vet says.

Cheerios is up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped. He is currently being cared for by our rescue, but would like you to make him a part of your family today! The adoption fee of $125 EACH will benefit other CPR rescue animals.

More about this rescue

CPR is a foster/volunteer based rescue, with a 501c(3) non-profit status, dedicated to rescuing stray and abandoned animals. We do not have a central "shelter" as all of our animals are placed in foster homes until forever homes can be found. Our goal is to rescue as many animals as we can safely manage thru foster homes. We rescue dogs, puppies, cats, kittens, birds and other small animals.
