My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pepe, a charming 12-year-old black and white domestic longhair cat with a heart of gold. Despite his age and diabetes, Pepe remains a friendly and affectionate companion. He needs an adopter who can provide the necessary care, including administering insulin and ensuring he maintains a proper diet. Pepe is incredibly sociable and enjoys roaming the floor, making friends with everyone he meets.

Pepe's gentle nature and loving demeanor make him a wonderful addition to any home. He thrives on companionship and gets along well with both humans and other pets. If you have the ability to meet his medical needs and are looking for a devoted and friendly feline friend, Pepe could be the perfect match for you. Give this sweet senior cat a chance, and he'll bring joy and warmth to your home.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Fees vary with special adoption events, but our standard adoption fee for an individual adult cat, between the ages of 6 months to 7 years, is $75. An adoption interest form/application and contract must be filled out by all adopters.
No adoptions are approved without visiting the shelter in person. Interest or application for adoption is not a guarantee. Volunteers attempt to match cats with an appropriate home setting/family, and adoptions are not first come, first serve.

During the Covid-19 outbreak, almost all of our adoptable animals are in foster homes. In most cases it is not possible to visit cats in the shelter.
