Meet Gosling! This sweet, small girl loves to be pet. As soon as she sees you, she starts purring and making biscuits! Gosling can be scared of humans or loud noises and usually hides when she is approached but is easily lured out with gentle talking and pets. Then, it's cuddle time! She will rub all over your legs as you pet her, too. While she's not a lap cat yet, she has potential to blossom in her forever home and become one.
Gosling needs a patient adopter, who can start her in a small space and gradually expand her world so she can gain confidence and continue to learn to trust people.
Gosling has a foster sister, Pumpkin Patch, with her who she would love to be adopted with, but she would also do well with another self-assured cat who can help her come out of her shell. She would do best in an adult-only home, or one with older, gentle, and cat-savvy kiddos. She sometimes will do a swat when she is really excited, so she would probably be best in a home without small children.
Gosling is estimated to be about 2.5 years old. She has been spayed, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV/FeLV-. Do you have the time and patience to help this silly little torbico live her best life? Please apply today!

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

Additional adoption info
We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.
Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
