My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bowie is a sweet & cuddly boy with a playful personality - a total ray of sunshine! His favorite thing is anything he can do with the people he loves -- play with toys, snuggle on the couch, take a trot around the block, supervise your bathroom time, or give input on whether or not that meeting could've been an email while you work from home.  One of our favorite things is when he rolls over on the couch for a belly rub, and we get to squish all up in those milky white neck rolls.  Bowie is a friendly, young dog is thriving in his foster home where he has stuff to play with and chew on and another playful dog that matches his energy.  He's even cat friendly!  (as long as kitty doesn't mind him bouncing around and play bowing at them)

Bowie was born incontinent, and ABR will provide his future family with all the guidance and information for successfully loving and living with a diaper dog.  But unlike a lot of incontinent dogs, he has full mobility (and then some)!  He's fantastic and patient for diapering and cleaning time, and loves having 'nudie booty' time to romp around outside with his fur foster brother.  Even if you've never owned a diaper dog before, we highly suggest learning more about Bowie if he sounds perfect in every other way for you, and our team can give you more information on what his day-to-day looks like during the adoption interview process.

Additional adoption info

Austin Bulldog Rescue is 100% foster-based, and does not have a shelter or facility where applicants can come meet dogs before applying. Meet and greets with a potential match will happen after an adoption application is approved. ABR is a matching rescue -- while our teams take dog preference into account, we ultimately match families to the dog best suited for their home and lifestyle. The more thoroughly you answer the interview questions, the better the matching experience on all sides!
