Cedar came to the shelter as a stray way back in May of 2024. Staff here would say I am an active, high energy, boy! I would love a home with someone who could take me on plenty of walks and lots of adventures! I love toys, treats, & greeting everyone with my great big smile! I have done a good job of keeping my kennel clean, and would adjust to a new schedule quickly! I enjoy cats a little TOO much, so a home without any would be best for me. I would also prefer being the only dog. I can be mouthy when playing, and may knock over little ones on accident, so adults and older children would be preferred. If you`ve got room in your life for all the excitement and love I have to give, then call and make an appointment to stop by and say hi! I cannot wait to meet you!!

We are a non-profit Animal Shelter located in Menominee, Michigan. We take in stray and surrendered dogs and cats from several counties, averaging 1,000 animals per year. Our priority is to reunite the strays with their owner and adopt the unclaimed or surrendered pets into loving forever homes.
