Why this pet is the one for you:
Are you looking for a gentle, loving companion to brighten your days? Look no further! Lily is in search of a new home to settle in to, and she just might be the perfect addition to your family. Lily is a delightful bun with a personality as soft and endearing as her fur. She loves to explore her surroundings, always hopping around with a twinkle in her eye and a spring in her step. Whether she's nibbling on fresh greens, playing with her favorite toys (she loves to dunk them in her water bowl), or simply lounging in a sunny spot, Lily brings joy and warmth to every moment. By adopting Lily, you're not just getting a pet; you're gaining a loving companion who will bring happiness and companionship into your life. Her sweet antics and gentle nature are sure to make your home a hopp-ier place. Stop by our San Diego Campus and ask about taking Lily home today!

RHDV2 Vaccine: Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus (RHDV2) is a highly contagious disease that can affect rabbits. Due to its presence in San Diego County, all rabbits will receive a mandatory RHDV2 vaccine before adoption. Guests will be charged $14 for this vaccine upon adoption.

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
