Meet Yukon! We first saw Yukon on TV and were captivated by his story. Entering the shelter system at just three months old, he has spent six long months waiting for his chance to find a loving home. Seeing that sweet face, we knew we had to step in and help him on his journey to finally experience the care and love he deserves. As we learned more about Yukon, we discovered that he had a kennel mate named Pepper. Although she hadn't been in the shelter as long, we couldn't bear to leave her behind. So, with hearts full of hope, we decided to bring both of them to ARRI to give them each a fresh start.
Yukon is a sweet, playful boy, perfect for someone looking to enjoy the fun of the puppy years while benefiting from his treat-motivated, eager-to-please nature. We are excited to see Yukon finally feel the warmth of a loving home.

Animal Rescue Rhode Island is open to adopters! Walk-ins are welcome; however, we suggest scheduling an appointment to see our pets, so we'll have a staff member ready to assist you and to ensure the pet you want to meet is available.

If you're interested in adopting one of our pets, please visit our website and complete an adoption application. A staff member will then contact you to schedule a time to meet the pet(s) that caught your eye.
