Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Clipboard needed time to decompress at SAMS before she was ready to show her true self. And how wonderful she is! She loves gentle pets and head rubs. She also enjoys having spots to hide in, but she comes out for attention with enough coaxing. You might have to look around for her a little bit, but once you find where she's hiding, she makes for great company. She loves to just chill and hang around! Just being in her presence is enough for her!

Stray Animal Midway Shelter (SAMS) was incorporated in 2010 with our focus being spay neuter assistance. In Noovember of 2013 SAMS purchased property and now operates as a no-kill shelter in Peoria County. We work closely with local and surrounding county shelters and obtain healthy and adoptable pets that would otherwise be euthanized for lack of space. SAMS receives no funding from government, state, county or municiple entities and are funded solelyby fundraising and donations. You can help by volunteering, adopting and donating to our cause.
