My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Slick Rick here! I'm a sweet and calm boy who loves lounging around and taking long walks. I would love for my forever home to have a backyard because I love relaxing outside! I came to Pawmetto as a stray, but my foster mom said I'm so well behaved it's hard to believe that. I get along great with kids and other dogs. I'm a quick learner; it only took me a day to figure out how stairs work! So far, I'm doing great with house training and potty training. I can't be bribed with peanut butter, but I do love a good piece of salmon. Come meet me and see if I'm the pawfect addition to your home!

My adoption fee of $50 includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?

If you'd like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org. Adoptions are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please fill out the online application, and you will be contacted if you are approved and are a good fit for one of our adoptable pets.

More about this rescue

Pawmetto Lifeline, formerly Project Pet, was founded in 1999. Since the opening of our adoption, medical, and boarding facility in Spring 2012, we have been able to save more than 15,000 companion pets from euthanasia and gave them a new lease on life. We continue to strive toward the goal of a no-kill community and state through adoption, pet retention, rescue partnerships, and medical services.
