Born in January, 2023, Prescott is a beautiful black and white tuxedo girl. She was rescued with her three kittens from a local auto repair shop. Her incredibly sweet personality meant that she was no longer going to be an outside cat. She is a petite girl who really enjoys your attention. She came in with a fur coat that was dirty and dry so her body is still adjusting to finally getting good nutrition. Fending for herself and her family on the street taught her to be strong and protective so she can exhibit some “alpha” traits around the other cats. She would make a great addition to any family with or without other cats.
Prescott is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped. Save The Animals Rescue Team, (S.T.A.R.T.) is a non-profit humane organization, founded by Annette Lamberti, that rescues stray, abandoned, injured, and abused kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs. The animals rescued are examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and placed in one of our volunteer foster homes. Since S.T.A.R.T. does not have a shelter facility, these animals remain in our foster care until they are adopted. So many of these unfortunate animals are victims of pet overpopulation, therefore, this life-saving work is critical!!
It is our mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in. S.T.A.R.T. is a 501 (c)(3) private non-profit organization relying on and supported by tax-deductible donations, grants and group fund raising.
