This beautiful, blue nose pittie mix girl is Hannah. She is approx 1 year old and should be about 45 pounds at ideal weight. Hannah was saved from a high kill shelter in Roswell, NM after being picked up as a stray. Her foster family says she is about as sweet and snuggly as dogs come. She is smart, catches onto any training quickly, and is driven to please her humans. House-training and crate training have been a breeze with her. She has also been great with any and all humans that come over to visit her. Hannah has integrated well with some dogs, but she can be a little picky. She has been an especially wonderful ‘nanny’ dog for a younger puppy in foster care and plays wonderfully with a similarly sized, young adult, male dog but has shown some reactivity to larger, older dogs. She will require careful and considerate integrations with other dogs and appropriate leadership. Hannah would also excel as an only dog and the princess of someone’s world. Hannah clearly lived much of her life not knowing where or when her next meal would come. For that reason, we recommend she dine alone as that’s when she’s most comfortable eating. We also require a fenced yard or acreage for Hannah. This girl deserves an amazing forever family. Could it be you?
Hannah is a foster in Fort Collins, Colorado.
