Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Jazzy is a darling 10 pound 14 year old Shiba Inu Chihuahua mix (our best guess). Jazzy is wonderfully social, gentle, loyal, and quiet. Jazzy gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home. Jazzy is spayed, micro chipped, heartworm tested negative, vaccinated and wormed.

You must fill out an adoption application, and provide at least 2 references. We also require a home visit, but do accept digital photos of your home in lieu of the visit. We also require that you sign a contract at the time of adoption, stating that the pet is returned to us at any time during his/her life if you can no longer keep him/her. Our adoption is not final until you meet the pet to make sure that it's a good match for you and the pet!

More about this rescue
Most of our dogs come from shelters in Tennessee, Georgia, and North Carolina. There are quite a few shelters there that still use gas chambers to euthanize their animals! The southern states seem to have more dogs looking for homes than the northern states, possibly because the spay/neuter laws are stricter up north. Our goal is to educate people on the need for spaying/neutering to reduce the number of homeless pets that are killed every year. We also strive to find wonderful homes for these dear pups that have done nothing to deserve what they've endured in their short lives to date.
