My name is Honey!

When she was just a year old, Honey was abandoned outside our city’s animal shelter the day before the 2021 TX snowpocalypse. Her first foster kept Honey for a couple of months until her mother grew sick, and she had to leave the country. I then took Honey in, hoping to find her a home by word of mouth.


Honey is an active, lean dog. She is protective of young children and behaves well with other dogs upon being ingratiated into the pack. She jumps sky high, and doesn’t run away or jump fences. She wants to be loved, and she really enjoys a steady routine and is impeccably kennel trained. My work schedule and my advancing age affect my ability to care for Honey. Approximately 4y/o, the young dog would thrive in a home that takes her on walks.
