I adopted Loki from a shelter in Monroeville, PA in 2021, he is currently 5 years old. Loki is extremely loving, sweet, outgoing, and likes to meow to communicate with me when he is happy or excited. He was my only animal at the time of adoption. In April 2023, I moved in with my boyfriend and his two adult male cats. Loki seemed okay with the other cats initially, however, he began to fight with the one cat and bully him. There were territorial issues as well starting this year, to the point where Loki would spray all around the house, even though he was neutered. I took him to the vet a few months ago to have him evaluated for a UTI. The vet checked his urine and found crystals, so I had to start him on a prescription diet to dissolve them. Even with the special food, Loki is still spraying in the house. I have tried diffusers, pheromone collars, enzyme cleaning sprays, but nothing is working. It kills me to give him up, but I think he needs to be in a single cat household.
