Johnny: gray/white, long hair, neutered male, born approx. 4/1/24, #19060 June: black/white, long hair, spayed female, born approx. 4/1/24, #19061
Cats: bonded pair & like others Dogs: okay with slow intro Children: gentle kids likely okay
Two kittens, only a couple days old (with their umbilical cords still attached) arrived at a shelter. It was late in the day, which often leads to a grim fate for bottle baby kittens who cannot survive without round the clock care and which shelters are unable to provide. With just 45 minutes to save them our team sprang into action, dropping what was planned for the day and running to the shelter. Once in the safety of foster care, they grew and thrived and now are ready to find their own forever home!
If you are looking for a perfect pair let us introduce you to Johnny and June. They are exceptionally sweet and full of energy! Being hand-raised bottle babies almost from the day they were born, they are very human oriented and will come running when they hear you. They will even lead you to where they want to go play. They love when you're involved! June and Johnny are incredibly social and will crawl, jump, run all over you---you are part of their jungle gym. They will bounce around, play chase, and wrestle with each other. Once they are done frolicking, they will settle in for a brief pause on your lap---then it's back to kitten shenanigans. They will find a way to make anything fun! ---Johnny is affectionate with a strong, lovely purr. He loves to crawl onto your shoulder and play with your hair. He will give you head butts to demand petting. ---June is loving, fun, and spunky! She is courageous in exploration and very confident. She will play endlessly---a tiny ball of energy. ---Johnny and June are inseparable and MUST be adopted together.
Johnny and June have met older cats in foster and are quite friendly with them. If they are hissed at, they just back away and go back to playing... their bond with each other is strong and reliable. They have seen large, calm dogs and although slightly intimidated initially they would adapt with time. Although they haven't met children, we believe given their young age and disposition they would adapt fine to most gentle new friends.
Johnny and June will make your heart sing! Won't you take them home?
