My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tulip - part of the porch pups litter that were rescued by Our Lil Bit of Heaven Animal Rescue and Sanctuary. Tulip was born on 4/16/24. She is a beautiful mixed breed puppy looking for a loving foster or forever family to call her own! She has beautiful tan/fawn coat with black accents on her face. She is such a sweet and smart girl that loves to play and snuggle!

I had a chance to get some individual videos and pics of the porch pups (Angela, Tulip, Daisy, Lacey, Brennan, Willow and Mocha (adopted and now named Yara) when I was at the rescue yesterday so I can post each pup individually. The pics still don’t do justice to how adorable these pups are - but I did the best I could to get some quickly and then get them back inside in the air conditioning.

If you are interested in meeting Tulip - please use the link at the bottom of this post to review OLBH’s adoption policies and submit an application. You must have a fenced in yard to foster or adopt.

Tulip has 5 equally adorable siblings that are also available ( see pics and video of her littermates in this post) and would be wonderful pets. If you aren’t able to adopt but would be willing to foster any of them to help socialize them and teach them basic puppy potty and behavior training - the summer can be a great time to get involved.

Whether it’s just you or an opportunity to get the family involved in giving back to the community through fostering to give these puppies the best chance for adoption. We are always willing to work with families whose kiddos need volunteer hours - fostering can be part of those hours - as well as helping at the rescue - fundraising or collecting food - toys - towels and other donations etc. Please message me for more information.

Please share this post with your family - friends - coworkers so we can get Tulip and her adorable siblings closer to finding a forever family!

We require   that you have a fenced in yard, not a "kennel" in the yard AND we do not approve underground fencing. Depending upon the dog some exceptions are made for those who live in apartments.   We also require that the adoptee will be a part of the family "living" within the home. Our adoption process may be found on our website at www.bitofheaven.org

More about this rescue

Both a rescue and a sanctuary Our Lil' Bit of Heaven strives to save as many of the “underdogs” as we possibly can. The seniors, the ones with medical needs, the bully breeds, the overlooked and tossed away. All of which deserve as much as any other but, are overlooked time and time again. You can help us do that by volunteering (at the rescue or helping with events), fostering, forever fostering, adopting, donating (monetary and in-kind).

Our purpose is to save the lives of as many canines as we are capable of and find loving homes that are the perfect forever fit for them. To educate the public in proper care of their companions, assist families in financial distress to be able to keep their furry loved ones with them by supplying food, vaccinations, spay/neuter help, preventatives etc.
