My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi friends, I'm Inky! When people meet me in purrson, they fall in love with my orange eyes and my little bat ears with the flipped back tips. My foster mom thinks I'm an introverted extrovert, or is it the other way around? I just know that I love living with my siblings and playing with them and getting tons of attention from my foster mom, but then suddenly I need my alone time so I disappear and go recharge my social batteries in a nice quiet place. I mean, for being such a young kitty, it's pretty amazing that I know how to perfectly balance my need for fun and my need for personal space.

I'm very smart too when it comes to finding comfortable napping places, and I'm the one who taught my siblings that my foster mom's tummy is the perfect nap spot. Oh I just love napping on top of her and purring my little heart out. If you take me home, you too can enjoy having a little purring bat-kitty as a nap buddy. I would also love it if my forever home had a furry friend for me to play with, but if you don't have one, I have three siblings and maybe we could take one of them home too.

Inky is neutered, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.

He currently lives with his foster family in Sacramento.

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home.

If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Inky please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Mackenzie at mackenster@comcast.net or 5302179846. If you are unable to reach Mackenzie please email us at info@purebredsplus.org.

NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!ts!

Additional adoption info

READY TO ADOPT?
The first step in the adoption process for your new kitty is to submit an adoption application. The second step is to contact the foster home listed on the specific cat(s) or kittens you are interested in to find out more. Are you adopting a kitten? Kittens do best when they have a friend or two to grow up with! Kittens who grow up with another feline friend tend to be well-behaved, well-adjusted, and overall happier. Purebred Plus Cat Rescue kittens are typically adopted as pairs or as a single kitten to homes with an appropriate feline playmate. If you prefer only one kitten, we strongly encourage you to consider one of our wonderful older kittens or young adult cats that are available!

Go meet their pets

Our cats are neutered or spayed, vaccinated and FELV/FIV tested. We are not a shelter. All of our cats are fostered in private homes. The whole goal of the adoption process is to ensure the cat or kitten is a good fit for you, the adopter, and your environment. We are looking for the best fit NOT first come first serve. We always focus on what is the best for the cat or kitten.

When you adopt from Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue, you are saving TWO lives - the cat you adopt and the cat who gets to take its place in rescue!

More about this rescue

Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, socialization, and rehoming of purebred and other exceptional cats and kittens into permanent homes. We carefully match cats with their forever families by evaluating each cat's personality, temperament, and special needs.
