Winslow's story is kind of sad and brought tears to my eyes when I first learned where he came from. Winslow and his friend (Willow) were surrendered from a drug house in Wilkesboro, NC. Their owner passed away but they were neglected and mistreated so much that when I took them in they were both severely matted, dirty, emaciated, had fleas, skin rashes. I've attached a few before pictures of when I got him. He was brought to me on May 6th and I've had him in my care for about 6 weeks now. I took him to the vet right away and he was treated given a physical exam and properly medicated. Winslow has been slowly healing and his condition wasn't as bad as Willow's but you can tell their prior environment was not good.
Winslow is funny, kinda quirky and loves getting attention. He's a total lap kitty and will just lay in your lap while being affectionate and giving you motor purrs. I don't know how he is with dogs. He absolutely loves the string toy and has a playful personality. He's full of energy and doesn't mind being the center of attention. Winslow enjoys a big cat tree and some scratching posts. I will say he does have a playful bite to him. But it's those bites that he's trying to be playful and doesn't realize it sometimes hurts us humans. He definitely loves food and is very food motivated. Like his friend Willow..always part of the clean plate club. :) I feel like Winslow would do well with other cats.
Winslow is neutered, vaccinated and tested negative for FIV/FELV. All paperwork will be provided at time of adoption. I require a professional reference, and if you have or had any current pet/s, I will need to see their paperwork.
Winslow is so deserving af a good home with love and affection. He will not be adopted to just anyone, I want to make sure it's a good fit for Winslow and his potential adopter/s. If you'd like to learn more about Winslow contact me and let's help find him a sweet, loving home.
