About me:
Zeta is a 5-year-old Great Dane who needs a new home. Adopted as a puppy from Almost Home, she is no longer getting along with the older dog in her current home. After consultations with a vet and professional trainer, it's clear that Zeta needs to be the only dog in a household.

Zeta is a true homebody. She may start off a bit shy, but her bright, fun, and playful personality shines through with a little patience and love. She's incredibly gentle and does exceptionally well with young kids; she's currently living with a 10-month-old and 2-year-old whom she adores.

Because Zeta can be a bit skittish while getting acclimated to a new family, she would do best in a home with a fenced yard.

When fostering for Almost Home Canine Rescue, all supplies are provided and vet care is paid for. Zeta will need to continue working with a professional trainer to help her be her best self. The rescue will provide the training as well.

**At this time we are accepting applications for foster only. Applications for foster homes up to 6 hours away from Sioux Falls, SD will be accepted** Zeta's foster will have first priority to adopt her once she is approved for adoption. Please apply to foster here:

All of our animals are fixed, microchipped, started on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and on a flea/tick and heart worm preventative prior to adoption.

More about this rescue

Almost Home Canine Rescue (AHCR) was founded in Madison, SD. In Early 2018, the group was reestablished in the Sioux Falls, SD area by a group of passionate animal lovers. While we are now based in Sioux Falls, we continue to have a large presence in Madison through community events and assisting the Madison Animal Shelter. Our continued presence will not only fulfill our mission, but also assist in reducing the overpopulation of animals in our area and the surrounding communities. Controlling overpopulation is the foundation in which our organization was established on.

AHCR is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is 100% volunteer-run and serves to help abandoned animals find new homes. All of our adoptable animals are in foster homes (we do not have a building or a shelter.) Please complete the application process in order to meet one of our animals.
