About me:
My name is Nina, I love other dogs. I currently have a 1-year old best dog friend. I’m in the middle of crate training and I do know how to go potty outside when you let me out. But I do occasionally have an accident or two in the house. When you put me in my crate, I cry for about 10 minutes and then I’ll go to sleep or lay down. I do love my belly scratches and I do have the puppy energy. I don’t need a fence but I do sometimes go a little too far but if you call my name and I’ll come running right back to you.

All of our animals are fixed, microchipped, started on age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, and on a flea/tick and heart worm preventative prior to adoption. Please note that all of our animals are in foster homes, and you must have an approved application to meet any of them unless at a scheduled meet and greet event. More about this rescue

Almost Home Canine Rescue (AHCR) was founded in Madison, SD. In Early 2018, the group was reestablished in the Sioux Falls, SD area by a group of passionate animal lovers. While we are now based in Sioux Falls, we continue to have a large presence in Madison through community events and assisting the Madison Animal Shelter. Our continued presence will not only fulfill our mission, but also assist in reducing the overpopulation of animals in our area and the surrounding communities. Controlling overpopulation is the foundation in which our organization was established on.

AHCR is a 501c3 non-profit organization that is 100% volunteer-run and serves to help abandoned animals find new homes. All of our adoptable animals are in foster homes (we do not have a building or a shelter.) Please complete the application process in order to meet one of our animals.
