Riley, a gentle 3 yr old Mastiff/Husky mix, has overcome more than her fair share of challenges. She's embarked on a journey of healing and hope after a difficult past of neglect and abuse. Despite it all, Riley's spirit remains unbroken, and she's ready to discover the warmth and love of a true forever home.
This sweet girl is learning the joys of being part of a family, slowly realizing that not all humans are scary. With patience and kindness, Riley is blossoming into a loving and affectionate companion who adores being close to her person. Whether it's snuggling up for a cozy cuddle session or playing with her favorite toys, Riley finds comfort and happiness in simple moments of joy.
Riley is strongly bonded to Max, her dad. He is a beautiful English Mastiff. They would do best staying together. They were rescued together, and share a special bond. The presence of Riley brings Max an extra level of comfort and security, making them an ideal pair for anyone looking to open their hearts to not just one, but two deserving souls.
If you're ready to give Riley the love and care she has been longing for, please reach out. Together, we can write the next chapter of her story—one filled with love, trust, and the happiness they so truly deserve.

Over 75% of our dogs are in foster homes along the front range. The foster will get in touch to schedule meetings for their foster dog. Meetings will happen in/near their homes since that is where the dog is the most comfortable. We do want you to bring family members (human and dog) to the meeting! Dogs who are currently at our Windsor facility will have meetings there and a volunteer will reach out to schedule those meetings with you. Please be aware that we do not place our dogs on a first come, first served basis, but rather a best-fit placement. Never fear, applications are valid for a year so if the first dog you meet isn't a good fit, we will have plenty of time to find one that is.
