You MUST submit a Best Friend Pet Adoption application on our website and be approved prior to being considered to adopt Belle. Here is the link to our application. https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=WHMSYCNC.
Are you looking for a new puppy this year? You should consider Belle. She is living in a foster home and can't wait to see what life has in store for her. She is a happy, fun loving puppy who is getting ready to explore the world. Belle loves to cuddle and play. Belle's Mom is pictured above and we think her Dad might have been a husky because Belle has one blue eye and one brown eye. As cute as can be!
Belle has had her first puppy vaccine and is ready to start an adoption trial. Do you want a puppy to entertain you and follow you around the house? Puppies can be a lot of work but they are SO worth. They will be your loyal friend for life.
Puppies can nip and bite and may not be appropriate for young children who are not aware of this trait that all puppies go though. Belle is working on her housebreaking skills and will need to be taken outside on a regular basis. Adopters who are not home during the day will need to have a plan which includes how to manage potty breaks.
Since Belle only has one set of vaccines, the adopter will need a home that has their own yard. She cannot live in multi-family buildings where she would be sharing common space where other dog may have been. She will still be susceptible to diseases until her second set of vaccines around mid-January. Belle cannot take potty breaks where other unknown dogs may have walked.
Some of the information contained in this biography includes approximations based on our expertise and is not guaranteed. Applicants should live within 30-60 minutes of Raleigh/Cary as our dogs must be seen by a BFPA veterinarian for all medical care prior to adoptions being being finalized after they are altered at 4-6 months old.
Adopters must be willing to bring their puppy to the Raleigh area for all medical care needed. We do home visits to finalize all adoptions. We therefore require applicants to live locally.

EVERY DOG HAS A STORY: Jolly and her 8 puppies were dropped off at a rural shelter when the babies were only five weeks old. Jolly was originally found as a stray and the finder decided to keep her after realizing she was pregnant. She was kept safe to have the babies, but sadly was brought to the shelter after it became too much work to care for the family. Thankfully BFPA was able to find a foster to take of momma and her babies! Belle is now looking for her forever home.
